Set up a customer under your account

As a reseller, the companies you sign up sit under your account as subaccounts. In this guide we look at where they live, create one from your side for a customer sitting with you, and step into their company to help them.

Step 1

Your subaccounts

A reseller account has one page the others do not. Everything about your network starts there.

Who owns a subaccount?
The customer does. You sell READI Collect to them and set them up; their manager owns the company, and you cannot read their collections through ownership. You see them in your network counts, and you can step into their company to help, as step 4 shows.
What does Projected payout mean?
An estimate of what your network earns you in the current period, from the pricing READI has configured for you. It shows once READI has set your reseller pricing, and only to managers with financial access.

Every company signed up under you, including companies signed up by your subaccounts. The tiles at the top count your subaccounts and the people across them, and show your projected payout once pricing is set. Each row shows the company, how many people it has, and which account it sits under.

Steps 2 and 3

Create a customer yourself

When a customer is sitting with you, sending them away to sign themselves up is absurd. Create the company from your side and their manager gets an email to set a password.

Reseller Subaccounts → Create Subaccount

What does a new subaccount inherit from me?
Whether the account is free of charge, whether pricing is hidden from them, and whether the supply shop is on, all copied from your settings at the moment the company is created, plus your branding if you are white labeled. A company created here and one that signed up through your link end up identical.
The manager already has a READI Collect account.
Then they are invited rather than conscripted: the company is created under you and they see a pending invitation to accept, the same as any other invitation. A brand-new address gets an account created for them and the email to set their password.
Enter the company name and their manager's email, then click Create Subaccount Enter the company name and their manager's email, then click Create Subaccount Enter the company name and their manager's email, then click Create Subaccount Enter the company name and their manager's email, then click Create Subaccount

Two fields. The company name is what their people will see, and the email address belongs to the person who will run the account. That person is emailed a link to set their password, and from then on the company is theirs.

The new company joins your subaccounts straight away, with the settings it inherited from you already applied. Nothing else is needed from your side: the manager finishes the company setup themselves when they first sign in, the same short run any new company gets.

Step 4

Step into a customer's company

Helping a customer sometimes means seeing what they see.

You land on their dashboard, working inside their company for as long as you need. A banner across the top says whose company you are in, that changes you make there are theirs, and offers Return to your own company when you are done. This only reaches into companies in your network.

Creating a customer yourself is one route in. Topic 12 covers the other: a registration link and QR code that lets companies sign themselves up under you.
